My keyboard battery went dead and I ended up restarting Mac Mini 10.7.3 after inserting new batteries. However when I clicked on BBedit it opened an old document I haven't worked on in over 2 years in another screen (light gray background with only that page showing on the desktop - no doc, no menu and no other items I had on the desktop). I had to click everything I could think of to try and get it back to the desktop (browser icon did it).
When I first click on BBedit logo in the Doc it brings up a black popup with recent files listed with that one particular file having a checkmark next to it and separated from the other files by a line above it. I cannot remove it because the minute I let up on the mouse it switches to the gray screen mentioned above. It should be opening to my documents folder. I"ve tried checking both the finder's and BBedit's preferences and everything else I can think of but see no way to remove whatever might be causing this and removing the checkmark next to that link. Anyone know what's going on here? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "BBEdit Talk" discussion group on Google Groups.
