AppleScripts written for use in as BBEdit filters or scripts should be saved as compiled (data fork) script files, not script applications. Does this mean I shouldn't save scripts as .applescript and only use compiled scripts (.scpt)? .applescript scripts would be preferable, since being plain text, they play nicer with git.
