Thank you Gribnif. Every six months or so I read something on this list 
that saves me worlds of time, and you just did it. I always futzed around 
with the Find Differences ... dialog, as well as a few other really bizarre 
"shortcuts" I developed. 

Gribnif: Personally, I find it easiest to Command-click on the two files I 
want to 
compare, then Control-click (or right-click) to get the contextual menu. In 
there, you'll find Compare.
