Hi
I'm not 100% sure what you mean. However if you mean the open dialogue,
in my case it does seem to remember a recently accessed folder.
If it isn't working,then you if you keep a window open in the Finder
with the folder you wish to access visible, then when you use the open
dialogue you can just drag the folder to access into the open dialogue
and it will switch to the contents of that folder.
