Greetings, I have just encountered a very unusual problem. While I was able to do so only hours ago, for some odd reason, I am suddenly unable to scroll horizontally in the index.html file for my website. Vertical scroll works just fine.
I thought that it might have something to do with the fact that I just installed the latest pre-release build -- 10.5 (3227) -- about an hour ago. However, only this one index.html file -- and a copy of the same -- have this problem. If I open other HTML docs on my site, I don't have this problem. Both vertical and horizontal scrolling work just fine. Please note that these are files on my local hard drive. I am not trying to edit them via FTP or anything like that. I even tried copying the contents of the index.html file into a new document and saving it, but the problem is likewise carried over to the newly-created file as well. I also tried zapping gremlins, but that didn't help either. Any ideas why this would suddenly happen? Also, even if I use command-right arrow key, the cursor will not advance to the end of the line . . . or at least I can't see it, because the horizontal scrolling has stopped working. I need to get this fixed ASAP, because now I have an HTML tag in my index.html which I can't remove -- because I can't access it at the end of the line -- and it is messing up the format of my site's home page. Thanks to whoever can offer some assistance. -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "BBEdit Talk" discussion group on Google Groups.
