Got notified of the 10.5 release by BBEdit last night, updated. Ran into a funky bug this morning:
I have Markup -> Inline -> Anchor assigned to ^A (not sure if that's default or not, figured I'd mention it :) ). Every time I selected text and hit ctrl-A, I'd get the spinning beach ball for 15 or more seconds. When the dialogue DID come up, the cursor would be in the 'href' box, rather than the actual anchor box. (Muscle memory has me hitting ctrl-A, cmd-V - this overwrites 'href' instead of defining the anchor.) Hitting tab would jump to the name box, skipping the empty anchor box altogether. (Shift-Tab WOULD bring me back from name to anchor, though it would beach-ball again first.) Quitting and restarting BBEdit didn't fix the problem. I've reverted to 10.1.2 for now; I use this hundreds of times a day, can't afford the extra half-minute or more each one takes. ;) Any idea of ways to fix this? -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "BBEdit Talk" discussion group on Google Groups.
