How do I execute those lines? I mean, I could write the file

better way? I'd prefer to not leave BBEdit, and it would be
nice if it was automated.
Put the following as first line of the file:
#!/bin/sh
And then 'run' the file in BBEdit, for me that's cmd-R. (BBEdit
will write out a temporary file for you and then run it.)
