When using the content menu on a given directory, it defaults to the selected 
directory. If a keyboard shortcut existed, I would think it would default to 
the project directory. If I wanted to place the file in a sub-directory of the 
project, I could navigate there.

I do not see any other way of creating a new file in my project. If I press 
Command-N, a new window entirely is created, which isn't what I want 99% of the 
time. 99% of the time I want a new document for my current project.
