I really did check the user manual, but I wasn't even sure what to look for.
While conducting searches in BBEdit I switch to Netscape to check on something, and while there I perform a search in the browser page. When I switch back to BBEdit, the Netscape search has replaced the BBEdit search in the dialog box. Actually, in the instant after BBEdit comes to the fore I can see the old search string vanish and the Netscape one appear. Yes, I know I can retrieve the search string via the history, but it's a little annoying. Any way to turn off this "helpful feature"?
