Brad At this point, I am out of suggestions, I use BBEdit 10.5.5 on Mac OS 10.8.4 and my original suggestions worked for me. Maybe someone who is running 9.x can chime in, or you could contact BareBones support. You could also check the documentation, I know they have suggestions for sharing preferences across machines via DropBox for BBEdit 10, maybe they have something there for BBEdit 9 which would provide some hints.
