Not what I see in the current prerelease.
If the horizontal-line markup (---) is on the immediate next line from a
header, the preview renders the header, regardless of level as if it were
wrapped in <h1/>, with all the hashmarks visible (# Title 1, in the preview),
but it doesn't choke.
What I saw is not optimal, but it's probably rare to put an <hr/> immediately
after an <h{n}/>, and putting a blank line after the header gives _nearly_ the
desired effect.
BBEdit allows you to set alternative CSS for Markdown renderings; if you need a
line after every header, you can set a bottom border rule. I'd argue that
anything beyond that expects too much of what's supposed to be a simple markup
language for simple formatting.
