Tried to replace the string \\^circ with ° but BBEdit fails to
match anything even though present in document.
Think its something to do with the escaping type characters.
More info needed:
1. When you use Find..., do you have Grep checked?
2. How do you put the search pattern in the Find box? I.e., by
typing it in, or by using commands such as:
Search -> Use Selection for Find
or
Search -> Find Selected Text
3. Is that pattern \\^circ the literal text, or are you adding
the backslashes?
I could make some suggestions, but not until your method is clear.
