I use a lot of projects where the files are all hosted on a server via

again in the editor. Is there a better way?
I recommend ExpanDrive, which lets you mount a remote SFTP (and
other types, such as WebDAV, S3, and FTP) server as a file
system. Thus you get all of the conveniences of direct file
system access.
