I had the caps key on and I was doing a couple of other things and i did not realize it till I had more than half my post created so I just left it on and kept going
I thought that i could edit one of the applications or preferences files. I have a relationship with one of BareBones developers and If he gives me a different answer I will reply to you BTW I was shouting... just kidding... You can't add clippings to the completion menu per se, but you can add them to the clippings folder.
