Does BBEdit have the ability to easily and simply record a series of keystrokes and/or commands? I don't want to learn a new scripting language if all I want to do is, for example, clean up a bunch of lines in a log file or somesuch. I was seriously looking at BBEdit as an alternative to SublimeText, but I can't live without simple keystroke macro capability.

Since you're asking about a feature, but it appears that what you need is the ability to perform various task(s), may I invert your question by asking what those tasks are, since there may be other ways to accomplish them? :-)

For instance, if you want to clean up log files, BBEdit offers a variety of line processing commands (in the Text menu), which you can chain together with a text factory.
