I did a search of "git" to see what git support there is in bbedit and didn't see anything specific to bbedit 11.
I would really love to see the git branch displayed in the text status bar. I have a top level directory for all of my git repos called "repos" that I use as a project in bbedit. Each repo could be checked out to different branches. I would like to be able to see what branch is checked out when i open a file, and then see that branch designation change when i checkout a different branch in that repo (without closing and reopening the file, i.e. the file and its text status bar settings should automatically update). I think the file contents do automatically update already. Thanks. -- This is the BBEdit Talk public discussion group.
