1.- I changed the location of the backup folder according to this advice in the BBEdit 11 Manual: „You may change the location of the backup folder by placing a folder alias named “BBEdit Backups” in your “Documents” folder (~/Documents/) and BBEdit will follow the alias.“ 2.- I am the owner of the "BBEDit Backups“-folder, so I can read and write everything within. 3.- Nevertheless I have encountered the following error while editing the scratchpad (see attached file).
