Back in 2009, a gentleman in this group wrote about scripting BBEdit to run YUI Compressor on his CSS and JS files.
I'm not that ambitious, but after having tried Adobe Edge Code CC with an optional plug-in, I got spoiled with the way you can set up AECCC automatically to save a minified version of a CSS file (stylesheet.css is saved as stylesheet.min.css, for example), creating the min file if it doesn't exist. For my purposes, just running the BBEdit Optimize command on a CSS file is fine. I've looked at the Scripting section of the BBEdit manual, and my eyes are kinda glazed over. So before I plunge in, has anyone else already done something like this? -- This is the BBEdit Talk public discussion group.
