When I close BBEdit with "Untitled" documents open, they are

"Untitled" docs are stored?
In BBEdit 11, cribbing from Chapter 2 of the PDF manual (Help ->
User Manual):
====
BBEdit Preferences Folder
By default, BBEdit stores ancillary preference data in the
folder "/Users/<username>/Library/BBEdit" so as to comply with
current OS guidelines.

The standard contents of this folder are as follows.
Auto-Save Recovery
BBEdit will automatically create this folder. The Auto-Save
Recovery folder contains information which BBEdit can use to
recover the contents of unsaved documents after a crash, or to
restore them at launch. ** Removing items from this folder can
cause data loss. **

PS: Please heed the caveat about data loss--in general, you
should not fold, spindle or manipulate the contents of this
folder except on the direct advice of tech support.
PPS: In BBEdit 10.x, the "Auto-Save Recovery" folder is instead
stored within BBEdit's app support folder
("/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/BBEdit/").
