BBEdit Preferences Folder

By default, BBEdit stores ancillary preference data in the folder "/Users/<username>/Library/BBEdit" so as to comply with current OS guidelines.

The standard contents of this folder are as follows.

PS: Please heed the caveat about data loss--in general, you should not fold, spindle or manipulate the contents of this folder except on the direct advice of tech support.

PPS: In BBEdit 10.x, the "Auto-Save Recovery" folder is instead stored within BBEdit's app support folder ("/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/BBEdit/").
