They're called, surprisingly enough, "packages". :-) Page 325 (or
thereabouts, depending on your version) of the manual:

A package is simply a pre-defined group of the sort of items you can
individually place into BBEdit’s application support folder (and
subfolders) to extend BBEdit; however, the package format makes it easier
to handle and install sets of related items.

The “Contents” folder may contain any or all of the following subfolders:
• Clippings (√)
• Language Modules (√)
• Preview CSS
• Preview Filters
• Preview Templates
• Scripts (√)
• Text Filters (√)


I've heard of bbpackage but it's not working for me at the moment.
