I use BBEdit daily & one of my most common uses is diffing several files at once.*
Unfortunately, the new single window interface for file diffs is causing me a problem. If I diff several files at once, I get a series of windows, each placed down & to the right of the one before & each smaller than the one before. The old BBEdit simply stacked 3 diff windows for each file on top of each other, guaranteeing the same size. This new arrangement gives me less screen real estate on each file because of the staggering. Is there any way to either: 1) revert to the older "3 window diffing"? 2) Just turn off the staggering for new windows in hopes that it will place each on top of the other at the same size? *I'm a developer, and I have BBEdit set as the diffing tool for my source control software, Versions.... -- This is the BBEdit Talk public discussion group.
