I just found this thread while searching for a way to display dot files in a project's file list. The conversation says there was an option for "Invisible Items" but that's circa 2009 (6 years ago) and clearly doesn't apply to BBEdit 11 anymore.
The new options are: "All Available", "Text Files Only" and "Everything". I'm having a hard time telling the difference between the choices in my projects, but that's probably because I'm not working with some subset of filetypes that would highlight them. Anyway, my particular issue is an extension of the original poster's: I would like to see .gitignore and .htaccess *files* (even in project subfolders), but as an extension, I do *not *want to see .vagrant/ or .node_modules/ *folders*. Is there a convenient way that I'm overlooking to see dot *files *but suppress dot *folders*? I've experimented with the Filters, but they aren't going to cut it.
