to support Split View.
We have filed a formal bug report against the OS about this
behavior, since everyone expects Split View to work, but it
doesn't, and there is nothing we can do on the application side
to make it work.
In other words, it's not a bug in BBEdit, there's nothing for us
to "figure out", and it's all in Apple's hands at this point.
The more duplicate bug reports they receive from customers, the
more likely it is that they will make the necessary fixes so
that Split View works as it should.
