Having a quick read of the log you showed, my first guess is you don’t
have Dev Tools (Xcode) installed. You need those in order to install
Perl modules.
This is the error that actually stopped things:
xcrun: error: invalid active developer path
(/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools), missing xcrun at:
/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/xcrun
