I am trying to send the output of a shell script to a new text
window in bbedit.
The "bbedit" command-line tool is good for that. Use "Install
Command-Line Tools" on the "BBEdit" menu, and then "man bbedit"
for guidance. In a nutshell:
<some command> | bbedit
will pipe the output of the command into a new document.
Enjoy,
R.

Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they
