I know one can filter out files in project view very nicely.

However, I would like to completely hide / filter out also various 
autogenerated directories. For example my project has '__pycache__' 
directories, created by the test runner.

It looks like this is not possible using filters. It might be possible to 
filter out subdirectories by parent path, but that's not sufficient.

Any ideas? Ability to flexibly filter out directories, not just files would 
be very useful.
