Just wanted to share an example of how far ahead of the curve BBEdit is in usability. Ever since Safari and Finder got tabbed windows, I have hoped in vain that the next upgrade will bring a hierarchical Window menu. BBEdit has had this feature for as long as I can remember (which isn't saying all that much these days, but it's been a long time), and it just seems crazy to only be able to see whatever is open in the current tab in each window on the Window menu. I just amazes me that Apple hasn't seen the need for them yet.
Before anyone asks why I haven't requested this feature, 1. How do you know I haven't (i.e. what difference would it make)? 2. Have you even tried to figure out how to send a feature request--or even a bug report--to Apple lately? Barebones hasn't implemented every feature I've ever suggested, but they've always responded--yes, no or maybe--in a day or two, and usually discussed them with me. -- This is the BBEdit Talk public discussion group.
