OK, but how do I open/save a batch of files, in nested folder
hierarchy.
I want to update all files at once so I can do a single git commit,
rather than having next 50 commits sprinkled with ‘code tidy’ changes.
EditorConfig uses a single configuration file to determine
settings -- but those settings don't specifically affect the
contents of the files (as far as I know).
So although closing and reopening the files will cause the
changes in the .editorconfig file to be picked up, I don't
understand why you'd need to close and reopen all of your files
before committing them after you make a change to the
.editorconfig file.
What settings are you changing?

Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they
sedate me.
