I have a text file with 2000 lines of text similar to this: baba /baˈba/ nm. mother bats /bats/ nf. test; v. test bei /bei/ v. keep
What I want to do is to find and replace everything up to and including the last period & space, on every line, so the output would look like: mother test keep I've tried various grep patterns, can't get any to work.
