OK, I just discovered something: This is not happening to perl files per se, this is happening to *remote* files (opened via sftp browser), which in my case happen to be all perl files.
I just created a .txt file and a .jpeg file in the remote server. Both get Opera icons when opened via sftp browser. This is really annoying!!! Any ideas? Support?
