I cannot get Completion using the Escape key to work. - Preferences > Keyboard > Allow the Escape key to trigger text completion *is* checked - "Emulate Emacs key bindings" *is* checked - "Enable Meta sequences" *is NOT* checked. (I tried hitting Esc twice just to see, but that didn't work either.) - completion with F5 still works
defaults read com.barebones.bbedit UseEscapeKeyAsCompletionTrigger *1* I'm running 12.0.1 (400010), but it didn't work with 12.0 either (I never tried with prior versions). *Things I've tried:* 1. Quit BBEdit and re-open after making preference changes. (multiple times) 2. "defaults write com.barebones.bbedit UseEscapeKeyAsCompletionTrigger -bool NO" followed by the opposite (-bool YES). 3. Disable "Emulate Emacs key bindings" 4. Disable Keyboard Maestro engine (just to be sure it wasn't causing any keyboard trickery) 5. RTFM. 6. Google. Any ideas?
