I believe that you have misunderstood (and I probably wasn’t as clear as I 
should have been)
“vector” is an example of one of many such files.

I have lots of files w/o suffixes (whose names are not subject to change) that 
are C++ files.
I would like to have them ALL open as C++ - preferably w/o specifying each one 
in BBEdit’s prefs.

(In this case, these are C++ standard library headers)
