Hey Ted, Wrong. :) Gmail does NOT allow a user to see his/her own posts in mailing lists, and there's not an option to change it. Google does not understand mailing lists (or doesn't care). There are several bugaboos like this, and the situation has gone un-remedied (and degraded) for many years. To get around the stated issue I'm subscribed to all my Google Groups with both a Gmail address, and an email address from my ISP. I have the Google address set to no-mail, but I can log-in and have normal access.
