After some investigations this is what (oddly) happens: - Interarchy is connected to a server via sftp; - Interarchy lists all files in a specific directory; - if I hit "command + j" a new local directory is created on my computer (this is the path my case, check yours): /private/var/folders/84/22cqzvt55_s9vh7_9wx9f2l80000gp/T/Cleanup At Startup/ DCD03A96-19CF-4088-9161-0974A850FB45 with the file inside: /private/var/folders/84/22cqzvt55_s9vh7_9wx9f2l80000gp/T/Cleanup At Startup/ DCD03A96-19CF-4088-9161-0974A850FB45/test.py - to check the local document path in BBEdit command + click on window title; - in BBEdit I modify the file then I save it (command - s); - locally the file is still there, correctly modified (I have checked with terminal), but Interarchy didn't transfer; - when I close its window in BBEdit it is deleted. Who is the culprit? Interarchy? BBEdit? High Sierra? I have to mention High Sierra because I have realised that the problem started with my new MBP 2 weeks ago :-|
This feature is vital to me for my job. I will check privileges, jic, and other stuff. To be continued, KIT.
