Dear BBedit, I have beeb using bbedit since the first versions years ago, and still love its responsiveness and advance features as the remote editing.
In the past years, I have made a lot of microcontroller programming using bbedit, but now, it seems that platformio (https://platformio.org/) Is one of the best options for editing on microcontrollers. They advocate editors like Vscode or Atom, or to a lesser extend various alternate platforms as QT creator. I have tried these editors ( Vscode and Atom), but still prefer by far BBedit.
