Hey Seamus,

Learning new software is sometimes a painful experience at first, particularly
when terminology differs from what you're used to.

Ask questions early and often when you're stuck. That's what we're here for.
:)

Keep in mind that you can use the Search field in the Help menu to find menu
items.

There's only one hit for "anchor".

The user manual can be opened from the Help menu as well.

Searching for "anchor" in the PDF in Preview yields only 10 hits if you
double-quote the word to filter out fuzzy-matches.

The 3rd item in the index is “A (anchor) tag 259”.

Searching for "link" on the other hand is a more frustrating experience.

Give yourself a little time to learn your way around the app before getting too
frustrated.

I've been using BBEdit for more than a quarter of a century, and I still get
bit now and then.

Chris
