around could be a security hole, especially if the text you were
searching for was being scrubbed from a document. Now the search
target contains your text!
While it may be occasionally useful to clear the search history,
I submit that if a bad actor has physical access to your
computer to the extent that they can look at the history menu in
the Find window, you have much bigger problems.
