It is good to run an Analytics or comparable report to see what screen sizes 
your users have. I'm still seeing iPhone 5 class screens running about 8% of 
our audience which is enough that we still want to support them. Which isn't to 
say your audience is going to the be the same, but it's good to check.

I really like https://caniuse.com/ <https://caniuse.com/> as well. It can pull 
from your Analytics and give you a site-specific read on how much audience can 
or can't take advantage of various HTML features. There are features that I 
don't feel I can use because they have so little support and others that I find 
have 99% support among our audience so there isn't really any need to worry 
about using them.
