Hey Jerry,

Just making sure you get that the carat (‘^’) has the specific role of 
anchoring the search pattern at the start of a line - same way ‘$’ does so for 
the end of the line.

(Of course there’s more to “lines” in regular expressions. But from your 
comment it seemed useful to clarify that the carat isn’t a general line 
indicator.)
