Hi,

I'm posting this in case others have the same issue.

I'm seeing an odd problem with the Find Previous menu item: I can't assign
Shift-Command-G to it (see attached). It just doesn't show up in the menu
or function when pressed. Even if I throw away my prefs & Application
Support files, the fresh settings (that show shift-command-g assigned by
default) don't work.

I've tried quitting processes that might be trapping hot-keys (Butler,
Better Touch Tool) but it doesn't seem to help. I've looked through my
Keyboard system-preferences for any hot-keys assigned there, but there are
none using shift-command-g or anything similar.

If I create an entirely new user account on my computer, the problem then
goes away (so it's likely it's a process other than BBEdit that's
introducing the issue, I know, but BBEdit is the only process with the
problem using shift-command-g).

*WORKAROUND:*
Go into "System Preferences: Keyboard: Shortcuts: App Shortcuts" and assign
Shift-Command-G to BBedit's "Find Previous" menu item that way.

Hope that helps,
Colin
