I was just about to recommend Bootstrap for your "*small static web
site*" because I've made 4 small, static websites with it and I'm
planing another two right now :-).
I don't want to derail your original question, only perhaps to hint one
more time at Bootstrap… or to learn something new (*) myself :-)
