if you open the context sensitive menu for these tags you get a "File
not found (macOS error code: -43)."

Sorry about that - BBEdit includes a default set of tags for Python, and they were built using an installation from Homebrew, which points into /usr/local/lib/so/forth. If you wouldn't mind contacting Tech Support, that'll create a case which reminds me to clean that up. :-)
