Let me guess there might be one other thing: default app for Finder?
If Finder does not open BBEdit on double-click of a TextWrangler document then on
that document use Get Info (command-I) in Finder to set the default app, and click
the “Change All..." button to fix all the other TextWrangler documents.
That is not relevant, but will do no harm.
