BBEdit 13.5.5 (415089, 64-bit Intel, sandboxed) macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and neither "^$" nor "^\h*$" nor "^\s*$" deletes blank lines for me. -- This is the BBEdit Talk public discussion group.
