I use a tool that supports links in Markdown format. For apps that support x-callback-url, I can include a link that will open a document in the specified app. I'd like to accomplish a similar thing where the file would open in bbedit. However, as far as I can tell, bbedit does not seem to support x-callback-url.
Is that correct or have I overlooked it? If it doesn't support x-callback-url, do folks here have suggestions on how to achieve the desired result via some other means? When I use a file:/// link, it opens in Finder, which is okay because I can then right click and open it in bbedit, but if there's a way to skip that step, I'd like to use it.
