I make heavy use of BBEdit projects, organizing each source code repository
I'm working on into separate projects. (My company has many such repos.)
I'd like to use them with macOS' Split View
<https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204948> feature, splitting my screen
with a project and a terminal or browser window.

But BBEdit places each project in its own window, and switching to a new
project necessitates switching back to my main desktop or another space
where that window resides. I would rather BBEdit replace my view of one
project with another, preserving the split.

You can already do this with separate files; BBEdit will happily load them
into the same window and you can use the sidebar or navigation bar to
switch between files. Can we get a navigation bar that lets you switch
between different projects in the same window, perhaps with a hierarchical
menu that also lists the open files in each project?

Thanks for reading. I've been a BBEdit user since Mac System 7.
