Original Apple/Mac convention was <CR> (Control-M) line endings. 
Unix used <LF> (Control-J) line endings. 
CP/M and Windows used <CR> <LF> line endings.


BBEdit is pretty smart about continuing to use whatever it finds. Has a default 
for new files.
