I know that `bbedit` works via ssh from another machine, so there should
not be a restriction for using only Terminal or iTerm. I suggest trying
to ssh **to** your machine and running a `bbedit` command, does the doc
open in BBEdit or do you get an error. If you still get an error then
the problem isn't related to `xterm` - if it does work, then I'm
baffled, no idea why `bbedit` wouldn't work from `xterm`. I'm sure
others here can comment.
