Hey Chris,

I meant the number of the line, as in the numbers in the left hand column.

The lines typically look like this: "so, it was...." Or, " so, it was...." 
 Which is something else I'd like to have a Grep for: removing spaces at 
the beginning of all lines.

My apologies for the misunderstanding.
