*Hi Folks*

A few days ago, I installed PHP (8.1) with macports on my Mac to test a
particular website locally on my Mac. After a few changes I was completely
annoyed by copying every change from my BBEdit project tree to the local
document root.

So I wrote this little AppleScript which also may help others:

*try*

*set* myResult *to* *do shell script* "rsync -av --exclude '\\.DS_*'
/Volumes/My\\ Harddisk/my\\ BBEdit_project/htdocs/
/Volumes/Users/_www/htdocs"

*display alert* "bash message: \n" message myResult as *informational* giving
up after 5

*end* *try*
Save this file to the AppleScript folder of BBEdit and in the preferences
set a shortcut to execute this script. ⇨ Voila!
